Job title: GA DHS Senior Salesforce Technology Specialist
Role Summary:
Senior Salesforce Technology Specialist responsible for end‑to‑end administration, configuration, development, integration, and governance of the Salesforce platform (Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CMS, Knowledge). Leads design of scalable, secure solutions, drives automation, and collaborates with stakeholders to align technology with business objectives.

- Deliver high‑quality, secure Salesforce solutions that meet or exceed business requirements.
- Maintain platform stability, performance, and security while staying current with Salesforce releases and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership across architecture, development, integration, and deployment activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Platform Administration & Management** – Configure user management, roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing models; maintain data and security, conduct upgrades, data imports/exports, deduplication, and system monitoring.
2. **Customization & Configuration** – Design and build custom objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, approval processes, flows, and Lightning components (LWC/Aura).
3. **Process Automation** – Develop flow, Process Builder, and declarative automation to streamline business processes.
4. **Integration & Development** – Build and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP, Platform Events, and Apex; develop Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages where needed.
5. **Architecture & Governance** – Lead architecture design sessions, produce data models, integration diagrams, and technical design documentation; enforce security, scalability, and performance standards.
6. **CI/CD & Release Management** – Manage deployment pipelines (Salesforce DX, Jenkins, Copado, Gearset), version control, code reviews, test coverage, and release cycles.
7. **Stakeholder Collaboration** – Gather requirements, facilitate design workshops, provide guidance on best practices, and deliver training and support to end users.
8. **Documentation & Change Management** – Create and maintain process, architectural, and user documentation; support change management activities.
9. **Continuous Improvement** – Evaluate AppExchange solutions, recommend tools, and drive continuous enhancement of platform capabilities.

Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Developer, Platform App Builder; at least one Architect credential (e.g., Registered Architect – Application or Technical) or equivalent.
- Proven experience managing large‑scale Salesforce implementations (Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CMS).
