Job Description

Job Title: Data Scientist Role Summary: Drive fraud and risk analytics initiatives by leveraging advanced ML/AI, Python, SQL, and data engineering to uncover patterns, automate workflows, and enhance decision‑making for business and customer protection. Expactations: - Deliver actionable insights that mitigate fraud and risk exposure. - Automate data pipelines and analytic workflows to increase efficiency. - Mentor and train teams on notebook development and automation tools. - Collaborate with global stakeholders and manage concurrent projects. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain automated data analysis pipelines using C#, Python, and SQL. - Build and optimize Jupyter notebooks for data exploration, visualization, and pattern detection. - Conduct statistical analyses to detect fraud patterns and trend insights. - Lead training sessions for individuals or teams on notebook creation and automation. - Communicate complex analytic findings to non‑technical stakeholders. - Coordinate with cross‑functional teams and prioritize multiple initiatives to meet deadlines. - Incorporate cloud payment and risk systems knowledge to enrich analytic context. Required Skills: - 4+ years of data science or analytics experience in fraud/risk management. - Strong ML & AI conceptual knowledge and practical application. - Advanced proficiency in Python (including Jupyter), SQL, and C#. - Experience designing automated workflows and streamlining data processes. - Expertise in statistical analysis, data manipulation, and visualization. - Excellent project management, prioritization, and collaborative skills. - Ability to adapt to flexible work hours for global team coordination. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related discipline. - No specific certifications required.
