**Job title:** Senior DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud‑based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support multiple product environments. Provide operational support, monitor application health, troubleshoot build and release issues, and collaborate closely with engineering and cross‑functional teams to accelerate delivery.
**Expactations:**
- Deliver end‑to‑end infrastructure solutions that meet traffic, security, and availability requirements.
- Own and evolve monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
- Build and maintain reproducible, versioned CI/CD workflows.
- Ensure consistent environment provisioning across dev, test, and production.
- Troubleshoot complex build, release, and runtime problems.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of automation and reliability.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, provision, and manage cloud resources (preferably AWS) using IaC tools.
- Configure and maintain monitoring (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, cloud monitoring) and alerting.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Provision and maintain Docker images and orchestrated workloads (Kubernetes).
- Automate configuration management with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Administer Linux servers, PostgreSQL databases, and related networking components.
- Resolve build, release, and environment issues; perform root‑cause analysis.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and ops stakeholders.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years as an individual contributor in DevOps or SRE roles.
- Deep experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP).
- Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Strong Docker and Kubernetes knowledge.
- Hands‑on CI/CD pipeline design (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Scripting in Bash and Python.
- Practical Linux system administration.
- SQL proficiency; experience administering PostgreSQL.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Terraform Associate, or equivalent DevOps certifications.
