Job title: Smartsheet System Administrator
Role Summary:
Guide and maintain enterprise‑wide Smartsheet usage, ensuring secure, efficient, and governed platform operations. Lead design, deployment, and continuous improvement of Smartsheet solutions, focusing on dashboards, reports, and governance to provide real‑time portfolio visibility.
Expectations:
- Act as the sole expert on Smartsheet licensing, security, and governance.
- Deliver high‑quality, data‑driven dashboards and reports to executive, portfolio, and program leadership.
- Champion adoption of new Smartsheet features and best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Smartsheet solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage user licenses, security settings, and access controls; resolve support tickets and enforce governance standards.
- Monitor platform performance; administer integrations (e.g., Jira, Data Shuttle, Dynamic View, third‑party apps) and ensure data integrity.
- Drive adoption of Smartsheet Control Center for standardized project/program creation, structure, and reporting (Portfolio Epic/Value Stream, Execution/Project Blueprints).
- Gather stakeholder requirements; design, pilot, deploy, and maintain Smartsheet solutions (sheets, forms, reports, workflows, dashboards).
- Create and sustain executive, portfolio, program, and project dashboards providing real‑time visibility.
- Stay current on Smartsheet releases and new capabilities; disseminate knowledge to internal teams.
Required Skills:
- 4–6 years of experience as Smartsheet Administrator, Solution Architect, or similar role.
- Deep technical expertise in Smartsheet, including Control Center and Blueprint management.
- Proven ability to build complex, data‑driven dashboards and reports for executive and portfolio use.
- Hands‑on experience with Smartsheet premium apps/integrations (Data Shuttle, Dynamic View, Jira Connector).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to articulate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Smartsheet Certified User, Product Certified, or Certified Consultant (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (not explicitly required but commonly expected).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with other SaaS tools management (e.g., DocuSign, Figma).
- Experience supporting enterprise or large‑scale environments.
