**Job Title:** Staff Salesforce Developer / Solutions Architect
**Role Summary:**
Senior individual contributor responsible for leading end‑to‑end design, development, and architectural strategy for Salesforce multi‑cloud solutions (Sales, Service, Experience, CPQ/Revenue, Certinia PS). Drives technical direction, mentors developers, and partners with business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver high‑quality, performance‑optimized Salesforce applications.
- Own architectural ownership for large, cross‑functional initiatives.
- Mentor junior and senior engineers; lead technical knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with product owners, delivery leaders, and offshore teams.
- Maintain rigorous DevSecOps practices and governance.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Design and architect scalable, secure solutions across Salesforce Sales, Service, Experience, CPQ/Revenue Clouds, and Certinia PS.
2. Translate ambiguous business outcomes into solution roadmaps, epics, technical designs, NFRs, and SLAs.
3. Lead hands‑on development of critical components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow Builder, and platform services with clean, testable patterns.
4. Plan and execute integration strategy with enterprise apps via REST/SOAP APIs, events, and iPaaS (e.g., Workato), defining canonical models, error handling, idempotency, and observability.
5. Strengthen CI/CD pipelines (Git, Flosum/Gearset), automated testing, static code analysis, and release governance across multi‑sandbox environments.
6. Facilitate architecture reviews, discovery sessions, and solution walkthroughs to ensure designs are implementation‑ready for offshore delivery.
7. Mentor and coach developers, lead architecture guilds, brown‑bags, and pattern reviews to improve delivery velocity and quality.
**Required Skills**
- Advanced proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Salesforce platform events, asynchronous processing, and declarative automation (Flow Builder).
- Deep understanding of Salesforce data model, governor limits, transaction control, caching, and performance tuning at scale.
- Strong architectural judgment in choosing code vs configuration, complex security/sharing, and high‑throughput integrations.
- Experience with CPQ or Revenue Cloud highly preferred.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP, middleware/iPaaS (Workato), event‑driven patterns, canonical data models, and API lifecycle management.
- Proven leadership in mentoring, establishing standards, and uplifting engineering culture.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification required; Salesforce Architect certifications (Application, System, Integration) preferred.
