Job Description
**Job title:** DevOps Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure, and ensure reliable, secure, and scalable application delivery across AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms. **Expectations:** - 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering. - Proven ability to work in an agile, fast‑paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or ArgoCD. - Provision, configure, and manage cloud resources on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including serverless services. - Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi. - Deploy, scale, and operate containerized applications with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts. - Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog; troubleshoot performance bottlenecks. - Enforce security best practices: identity and access management, logging, vulnerability scanning, and compliance controls. - Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment efficiency and resolve infrastructure issues. - Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization for cost‑effective scaling. - Automate provisioning, configuration, and routine maintenance tasks. - Keep abreast of emerging DevOps technologies, tools, and industry best practices. **Required Skills:** - CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, ArgoCD). - Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless computing. - IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi). - Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm). - Linux system administration, networking, and security fundamentals. - Scripting in Bash, Python, or Go for automation. - Monitoring, logging, and observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog). - Understanding of high‑availability and scalability architectures. - Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
