Job Title: Dietitian, Nutrition – Pregnancy Clinic Role Summary: As a qualified dietitian in a pregnancy clinic, you will deliver comprehensive nutrition care to expectant mothers, ensuring optimal health, growth, and development. Duties include screening, assessment, individualized nutrition planning, monitoring, documentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, patient education, and participating in guideline development. Expectations: - Maintain full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC, including Restricted Activity A, and pursue eligibility for Restricted Activities B and C. - Apply provincial standards and evidence‑based practices to all patient interactions, respecting cultural, religious, socio‑economic, and Indigenous health contexts. - Document all assessments, plans, and outcomes in a timely, legal, and confidential manner. - Communicate effectively with clinicians, food service staff, patients, families, and community resources. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct nutrition screening and assessment (subjective global assessment, anthropometry, dietary recall). 2. Develop patient‑centered nutritional goals and care plans per College standards and individual needs. 3. Recommend and adjust oral and/or enteral nutrition support regimens in collaboration with the healthcare team. 4. Monitor progress toward goals, evaluating responses and modifying plans as needed. 5. Document assessments, care plans, and recommendations according to established formats, timelines, and legal requirements. 6. Maintain and update patient files and workload statistics. 7. Participate in interprofessional rounds and care conferences, providing nutritional input and discharge planning. 8. Deliver education, counseling, and follow‑up to patients, families, and caregivers, including telehealth services. 9. Contribute to development and revision of evidence‑based guidelines, protocols, and educational materials. 10. Liaise with food service to ensure adherence to diet plans, menu planning, and diet criteria. Required Skills: - Clinical nutrition assessment and care planning, including enteral nutrition. - Proficient documentation and health record management. - Strong communication, interprofessional collaboration, and patient education. - Cultural competency with focus on Indigenous health equity. - Telehealth delivery and outreach. - Knowledge of provincial legislation and commitments to Indigenous communities. **Job Title:** PDHIS Contracts Analyst **Role Summary:** Manage and maintain software, hardware, and licensing contracts for the Provincial Digital Health and Information Services (PDHIS) region, ensuring timely renewals, compliance, and accurate financial tracking.
