Job Description

**Job Title:** Backend Developer – Golang & Kubernetes **Role Summary:** Develop, deploy, and maintain Golang‑based backend services on bare‑metal Kubernetes clusters. Work cross‑functionally with development, support, and customer service teams to ensure reliable application rollouts, troubleshoot issues, and feed operational insights back into the product cycle. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality code and deployment artifacts on schedule. - Rapidly diagnose and resolve production incidents. - Automate repetitive deployment tasks. - Communicate effectively with engineering and support stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize Golang applications on Kubernetes clusters. - Manage application releases using Helm charts and YAML manifests. - Automate installation and deployment workflows with Ansible. - Collaborate with development and support teams for issue resolution and root‑cause analysis. - Support customer service during new application rollouts. - Provide feedback on deployment experiences and recommend improvements. **Required Skills:** - Strong hands‑on experience with Kubernetes application deployment (not cluster administration). - Proficient in Golang programming. - Experience with Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and YAML configuration. - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment concepts. - Practical knowledge of Ansible for infrastructure automation. - Ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., CNCF Certified Kubernetes Application Developer – CKAD) are a plus but not mandatory.
