**Job Title:** DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Architect, deliver, and operate CI/CD pipelines and cloud‐native infrastructure for a real‑time syndicated loan data platform. Drive application modernization, automate deployment, ensure high availability, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed DevOps best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
**Expactations:**
- 3+ years of hands‑on containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- 3+ years managing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- 3+ years of scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- 3+ years public cloud experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- 2+ years infrastructure‑as‑code with Terraform.
- Proven ability to maintain Azure cloud services across network, application, and database layers.
- Experience with Kafka or Azure EventHubs; monitoring/logging (DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Familiarity with build tools (Gradle, Maven, NPM).
- Strong Linux proficiency, collaborative mindset, rapid adaptation, and effective communication.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Modernize applications by implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD toolchains.
- Continuously optimize architecture, infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, and observability.
- Collaborate with developers to embed DevOps principles during design.
- Design, deploy, and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure across network, app, and database tiers.
- Maintain disaster recovery strategies and backup procedures for business continuity.
- Participate in weekend release rotation and on‑call support for production environments.
