Job Description

Job Title: C++ Software Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, test, and maintain high‑performance C++ applications for mission‑critical communication systems. Collaborate with subject matter experts to implement algorithms, maintain build and CI/CE pipelines, and produce technical documentation. Expectations: Deliver quality code on schedule, work in secure, air‑gapped environments, manage GitLab issues, and participate in design reviews. Key Responsibilities: - Generate and prioritize GitLab issues from technical requirements. - Write and maintain C++ code in production codebases. - Build and maintain CMake/Ninja build systems. - Create and run unit and functional tests using Gtest. - Develop software designs employing OOD/OOP and design patterns. - Maintain CI/CE pipelines and perform code reviews/debugging. - Produce technical documentation (design specs, test reports, user manuals). - Work independently and in teams, managing shifting priorities. Required Skills: - 3+ years C++11+ development experience; familiarity with Rust optional. - 3+ years Linux system programming. - Proficiency in CMake, Ninja, Git, GitLab, Gtest, Clang‑format, Clang‑tidy, VSCode dev containers. - Experience with C and Python. - Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills.
