The operator monitors reactor conditions, controls systems, and maintains compliance with technical specifications and station operating procedures. **Expectations** * Complete Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) and Basic Math & Science Test (BMST). * Pass NRC‑required physical examination and achieve unescorted plant access. * Attain and maintain NRC Reactor Operator license through initial and watch qualifications. * Work rotating shifts (day/night) including weekends and holidays; be on-call for emergency response. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Operate the reactor in accordance with approved procedures and limiting conditions. 2. Continuously monitor reactor and all control room panels; identify and report abnormal conditions to the Unit Supervisor. 3. Maintain accurate narrative logs of unit activities for the shift. 4. Perform routine clearance activities and coordinate liquid radioactive waste releases and transfers. 5. Conduct electrical switching from the control room as required. 6.
