Job Description
Job title: Engineer I (BMS/FLS) Role Summary: Entry‑level electrical engineer focused on building management systems (BMS) and fire/life safety (FLS) projects. Supports senior engineering teams through design, documentation, field inspections, and system integration, while developing technical expertise in MEP, ICT, and BIM workflows. Expectations: - Complete the firm‑wide Engineering Development Training (EDT) program. - Participate in continuing education seminars and apply new knowledge to projects. - Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and deliver high‑quality design outputs. - Demonstrate self‑direction, adaptability, and a strong willingness to learn and contribute. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct field inspections to assess existing conditions and support new work coordination. - Prepare due‑diligence, feasibility, gap analysis reports, and technical drawings. - Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and ICT disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions. - Create basic designs under senior guidance: CAD/BIM drafting, equipment selection, system calculations, and documentation. - Draft and review drawings, calculations, research reports, analysis, and specifications. - Develop basic knowledge of LAN/WAN fundamentals, Wi‑Fi infrastructure, and ICT trade concepts. - Support design and engineering of new installations, retrofits, replacements, and upgrades across diverse project types.
