Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer Internship (H/F) Role Summary: Support the development of a pseudo‑sinus control algorithm for a brushless DC motor in the R&D Software team of the Large Actuators & Sensors Platform. Design specifications, implement in C++, conduct automated unit and integration tests via CI/CD, and produce technical documentation. Expectations: - 5th‑year engineering student or equivalent in embedded systems, computer science, or related field. - Hands‑on experience with C++ and Python. - Strong commitment to software quality and continuous improvement. - Familiarity with software development processes (V‑cycle, Agile, test‑driven development). - Ability to work autonomously, propose solutions, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. - Minimum technical proficiency in written and read English. Key Responsibilities: - Define and document control algorithm specifications within product constraints. - Develop the algorithm in C++, ensuring compliance with real‑time and safety requirements. - Design, implement, and maintain unit and integration tests; integrate tests into a Jenkins CI/CD pipeline. - Produce and maintain clear, structured technical documentation (specifications, test procedures, user guides). - Participate in design reviews, validation sessions, and iteration cycles. - Report weekly progress to the technical lead and maintain traceable records.
