Job title: General Software Engineer Application
Role Summary: Engineer end-to-end product features across web and mobile, build scalable backend services, collaborate with design/product teams, and contribute to code quality, architecture, and engineering standards.
Expactations: • 3‑8+ years of production software experience, preferably in a D2C environment.
• Deep expertise in at least one core domain (frontend, backend, mobile, infrastructure, or AI) with willingness to work cross‑domain.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java and quick adaptation to new tools.
• Proven record of shipping complete, quality product features.
• Comfortable in a fast‑moving setting with evolving requirements.
• Strong communication, ownership mindset, and bias toward action.
Nice to have: event‑driven/distributed systems experience, 0‑to‑1 product building, monolith‑to‑microservices migration.
Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain user‑facing web and mobile experiences using React, Next.js, React Native, and Expo.
• Develop reliable and scalable backend services and APIs with Node.js, TypeScript, Express, tRPC, Java, or Spring Boot.
• Collaborate closely with design and product to translate ideas into polished features.
• Participate in data, infrastructure, or AI components to support product goals.
• Conduct code reviews, engage in architecture discussions, and influence technical decisions.
• Help evolve engineering standards, tooling, and processes as the team expands.
• Own feature lifecycle: implementation, testing, monitoring, and iterative improvement.
Required Skills: • Frontend: React, Next.js, React Native, Expo, JavaScript, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS.
• Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, Express, tRPC, Java, Spring Boot.
• Databases: MongoDB, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL.
• Infrastructure: AWS (CloudFront, Lambda@Edge, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora), GCP Cloud Run, Terraform, Docker.
• AI/ML: AWS Bedrock, Claude, Gemini, Vertex AI, Python, PostgreSQL for data and RAG pipelines.
• Event‑driven/distributed system patterns, microservice architecture, and 0‑to‑1 product development.
Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
