Job Description
**Job Title:** Cyber Security Manager **Role Summary:** Lead cybersecurity strategy development, oversee SOC operations, and drive security initiatives to protect organizational infrastructure and data. **Expectations:** Demonstrate strategic leadership in risk management, compliance, and security awareness while fostering collaboration across departments to implement and maintain robust security frameworks. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement cybersecurity policies aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001). - Chair the Cyber Security Board to coordinate strategic initiatives, risk oversight, and cross-functional alignment. - Manage outsourcing partnerships with the SOC for threat monitoring, incident response, and platform optimization. - Own and enhance security platforms including Microsoft Sentinel, KnowBe4, and Egress. - Conduct risk assessments, incident response planning, and post-incident reviews to mitigate vulnerabilities. - Promote cybersecurity awareness through training and embed secure practices in business processes. - Ensure audit readiness and compliance with standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR). - Oversee third-party vendor security assessments and alignment with organizational protocols. - Design security dashboards and reports for senior leadership visibility. - Collaborate with IT leadership to strengthen infrastructure and response capabilities. **Required Skills:** - Expertise in cybersecurity engineering, threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management. - Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel) and security orchestration tools. - Strong project management and cross-functional stakeholder engagement skills. - Ability to assess risks, prioritize actions, and make decisions under pressure. - Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, NIS2, PCI-DSS). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - 5+ years in cybersecurity, with leadership experience in security strategy and operations. - Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC, or equivalents.
