Job Description: Job title: Junior Wind Engineer Role Summary: Assist in the assessment, analysis, and reporting of wind farm projects, performing energy yield calculations, quality control of wind measurements, and data analysis. Gradually transition to project management duties and direct client engagement. Expectations: - Rapid learning and adaptability in a dynamic team. - Strong organizational and communication skills. - Stress‑resistant, solution‑oriented, and capable of handling multiple projects. - Fluent in English; additional languages, especially German, preferred. - Willingness for short travel to site inspections. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct long‑term energy yield calculations using WindPRO and internal tools. - Perform quality control and analysis of wind measurement data. - Analyze operational data from operating wind farms with Python. - Compile and present client‑focused reports on assessment results. - Visit sites to inspect measurement devices and turbines as needed. - Respond to client technical queries and provide expert advice. - Progress to independent project management, overseeing project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Required Skills: - Proficient in Python for data analysis and scripting. - Hands‑on experience with WindPRO; familiarity with WAsP, Meteodyn, GIS tools is advantageous. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively. - English fluency required; German or other languages beneficial. Required Education & Certifications: - Master’s degree in Engineering (wind energy, mechanical, civil, environmental, or related field). - Relevant coursework, internship, or entry‑level experience in wind energy industry.
