**Job Title:** Sr. DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary:** Senior-level DevOps Engineer responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing applications and infrastructure across environments, ensuring high availability, automation, and security.
**Expectations:** Senior-level experience in DevOps engineering with expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration tools.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deploy, manage, and support applications in Dev/QA/Staging/Production environments with zero downtime.
- Operate Kubernetes clusters (workload management, scaling, configuration, service mesh integrations).
- Develop and maintain Helm charts for standardized microservices deployments.
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps) with automated testing and multi-environment releases.
- Migrate CI/CD workflows to Azure DevOps with seamless service continuity.
- Build cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Implement DevSecOps practices (secure secrets management, certificate lifecycle, vulnerability scanning).
- Monitor platform reliability via centralized logging, metrics, and alerting tools.
- Troubleshoot Kubernetes, networking, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices deployment issues.
- Support Kafka-based messaging/data platforms and backend services.
- Provide 24x7 production support, on-call incident response, and resolution.
- Document SOPs, runbooks, architecture workflows, and troubleshooting guides.
- Mentor junior engineers and refine DevOps standards.
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and architecture teams for secure, stable releases.
**Required Skills:**
- Kubernetes cluster administration and service mesh integrations.
- Helm chart development and microservices deployment automation.
- CI/CD pipeline design (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for cloud infrastructure.
- DevSecOps practices (secrets management, vulnerability scanning).
- Troubleshooting Kubernetes, networking, and containerized environments.
- Scripting/automation (Bash, Python).
- Centralized logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Kafka and data platform management.
- Cross-team collaboration and mentorship capabilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) or equivalent experience preferred.
- Kubernetes certifications (e.g., CKAD, CKA) advantageous.
