Job Description

Job title: Entry Level Software Engineer – DevOps (Java) Role Summary: Assist in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud‑native infrastructure for Java applications. Manage CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, networking, and monitoring to support secure, high‑availability services. Expectations: • U.S. citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph. • Strong foundation in cloud and automation tools. Key Responsibilities: 1. Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform. 2. Configure and automate deployments with Ansible. 3. Operate Kubernetes clusters, including networking with Calico or Istio. 4. Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for Java codebases. 5. Implement logging and monitoring using ELK stack, Prometheus, or Grafana. 6. Ensure compliance with security and operational best practices. 7. Troubleshoot infrastructure and application incidents.
