**Job Title:** Integration Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and integrate software for automotive simulation, testing, and validation (SIL, HIL, VIL). Work across software, hardware, and systems engineering domains, following Agile Scrum and systems engineering principles to deliver production‑ready vehicle applications. **Expectations:** - 5+ years of automotive software or systems engineering experience. - Hourly compensation: $70.00–$73.00 USD. - Ability to travel to onsite meetings occasionally. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and integrate simulation, testing, and validation software for automotive platforms. - Participate in Agile Scrum development cycles and apply systems engineering practices. - Build and maintain partnerships with platform teams; adapt to evolving tools and platforms. - Evaluate, provide feedback on, and enhance internal tools to improve usability and performance. - Train and collaborate with customers to deliver production‑ready vehicle applications. **Required Skills:** - Deep understanding of ECU hardware architectures and standard vehicle architectures. - Embedded systems development and hardware diagnostics expertise. - Proficiency with Linux kernel module development, device tree modification, and troubleshooting. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines in automotive testing environments. - Familiarity with automotive build systems and vehicle communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, LIN, FlexRay). - Development experience in compliance with functional safety standards (ISO 26262). - Strong adaptation skills in rapidly evolving software and platform environments. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent work experience). - Certifications or proven experience in ISO 26262 functional safety.
