Senior Salesforce Administrator
**Role Summary**
Lead Salesforce administration in a B2B commerce environment, ensuring system integrity, data governance, and integration with ERP and third‑party services. Collaborate with line‑of‑business admins, manage releases through version control, and deliver analytics and executive reporting to drive customer experience and business value.
**Expectations**
- Serve as primary administrator for B2B Commerce solutions (Classic and Lightning).
- Lead configuration, deployment, and support activities across the Salesforce platform.
- Deliver clear documentation, training, and stakeholder communication.
- Partner with IT and business teams to shape technology strategy and maintain high data quality.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Validate and deploy Salesforce changes with version control (Git) and release tools.
- Manage Jira tickets for Salesforce workstreams, ensuring clear acceptance criteria and timely delivery.
- Administer user accounts, roles, permissions, data security, and conduct periodic audits.
- Configure and maintain B2B Commerce storefronts, product data, and customer journey components.
- Integrate Salesforce with ERP, payment gateways, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Customize Lightning components, layouts, workflows, and automation driven by business needs.
- Monitor system performance, recommend optimizations, and troubleshoot network and integration issues.
- Create and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and analytics reports for sales and marketing.
- Develop user guides, conduct training sessions, and document configuration and change management.
- Provide executive‑level reporting and contribute to technology roadmap recommendations.
**Required Skills**
- Minimum 3 years as Salesforce Administrator, 1 year B2B Classic Commerce, 1 year B2B Lightning.
- Salesforce Admin certification (mandatory); B2B Commerce and/or additional Salesforce certs a plus.
- Expertise in version control (Git) and Jira for agile delivery.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data models, security protocols, and governance.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and integration tools (Dell Boomi, Mulesoft).
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, CPQ, order management, and B2B distribution processes.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (mandatory); B2B Commerce or other Salesforce certifications preferred.
