Job Title: Finance Specialist
Role Summary: Provide finance expertise to evaluate and improve AI model performance in financial domains, create assessment rubrics, and collaborate with researchers on training, evaluation, and benchmarking.
Expactations: Deliver expert analysis on LLM outputs for finance topics, develop clear evaluation criteria, and provide actionable insights to enhance model capabilities, working 10–30 hrs/week with flexible scheduling and 4 hrs overlap with PST.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess LLM model performance across finance subfields (investment banking, private equity, capital markets, portfolio management, research, trading, quant, venture capital, growth equity, FP&A, accounting).
- Design and document rubrics for model evaluation on tasks such as deal analysis, M&A assessment, financial forecasting, and revenue modeling.
- Collaborate with AI researchers and other finance experts to refine training methods and benchmark sets.
- Communicate findings and recommendations in clear written reports.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Capital Markets, Portfolio Management, Research, Trading, Quantitative Analysis, Venture Capital, Growth Equity, FP&A, Accounting, or Financial Consulting.
- Deep understanding of core financial concepts: investment analysis, corporate finance, forecasting, revenue modeling, asset management, risk management, and related areas.
- Strong written English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to evolving project needs.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, FRM, or equivalent are advantageous but not mandatory.
