Role Summary: Own end‑to‑end deployment, operation, and reliability of edge hardware and AWS/Kubernetes infrastructure, coordinating with customer IT teams and ensuring scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient solutions.
Expectations: Deliver predictable, on‑time customer deployments; maintain stable, secure edge systems; keep cloud resources reliable, observable, and cost‑optimized; resolve incidents quickly with permanent fixes; provide feedback to improve product design.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and lead customer deployments, translating IT policies into deployment plans and timelines.

- Design, integrate, and troubleshoot customer‑side networking (VLAN, firewall, NAT, routing) and video infrastructure (RTSP, ONVIF, PoE).
- Build and operate AWS‑based infrastructure: EKS clusters, containerized workloads, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Develop automation and tooling (Python, Shell scripts, Terraform/CloudFormation) to reduce manual effort and improve repeatability.
- Ensure reliable edge‑to‑cloud connectivity and data flow; debug failures across networking, software, and infrastructure.
- Lead incident response and root‑cause analysis across edge and cloud systems.
- Own infrastructure cost visibility and optimization, monitoring AWS spend, right‑sizing, scaling, and cost controls.
- Feed real‑world insights back into product and infrastructure design.
Required Skills
- Hands‑on experience with edge computing or on‑prem deployments.
- Proficiency with Linux system administration and image management.
- Strong networking knowledge (VLANs, firewalls, NAT, routing, bandwidth) and video infrastructure (RTSP, ONVIF, PoE).
- Expertise in AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch) and Kubernetes operations.
- Automation skills: Python, Shell scripting, and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Incident response, debugging, and root‑cause analysis across distributed systems.
- Cloud cost management and optimization.
- Excellent communication with customer IT teams and engineering stakeholders.
