Job Title: Encore Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, test, and maintain applications on the FIS Encore ERP platform for packaging manufacturing. Focus on production planning, order management, inventory control, supply chain operations, and financial transactions. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize system performance, integration, and data quality. Expactations: * Deliver functional enhancements and customizations within defined sprint cycles. * Ensure high availability and performance of production, inventory, and order‑to‑cash modules. * Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date technical documentation and system specifications. * Provide timely support and root‑cause analysis for production‑impacting issues. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and customize Encore modules for scheduling, costing, inventory, and order entry. * Create batch jobs, reports, interfaces, and automation scripts. * Integrate Encore with ERP/MES, shop‑floor, barcode, and logistics systems. * Administer and optimize BOMs, production orders, material consumption, waste, and shipment workflows. * Build interfaces to external systems (ERP, WMS, CRM, finance) using APIs, EDI, flat files, MQ, and SFTP. * Monitor system performance, troubleshoot daily production issues, and implement long‑term fixes. * Participate in system upgrades, patches, migration projects, and knowledge transfer. * Document technical designs, process flows, and support guides. Required Skills: * Experienced in Encore application development, logic scripting, and batch processing. * Deep understanding of manufacturing/packaging processes: production planning, O2C cycle, procurement, inventory, BOM management. * Proficiency with RDBMS (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server). * Comfortable in Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting. * Knowledge of integration technologies (API, EDI, flat files, MQ, SFTP). * Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving abilities. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. * Additional certifications in ERP development or database administration are an advantage.
