**Job Title:** Business Intelligence Specialist
**Role Summary:**
Designs, builds, and maintains cloud-based analytical data models and SQL logic that form the trusted data foundation for enterprise reporting, forecasting, planning, and AI-driven insights. Serves as the technical backbone for analytics across Finance, Operations, Development, and Shared Services, ensuring high-quality, reusable data assets and governance.
**Expactations:**
- Direct hire; requires full-time onsite presence.
- 3‑6 years of BI/analytics engineering experience.
- Proficiency in SQL, cloud data warehousing (Snowflake preferred), and Azure services.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business problems into scalable analytics solutions.
- Manage and enhance analytical models in a cloud data warehouse (schemas, transformations, views).
- Build, optimize, and maintain reusable SQL logic for analytics pipelines, reporting environments, and AI applications.
- Validate and prepare data generated by Python or cloud-native jobs for downstream use.
- Coordinate with Data Scientists on pipeline outputs, data contracts, and model integration.
- Develop and maintain Power BI semantic models and datasets based on warehouse logic.
- Diagnose and resolve data quality issues across ingestion, transformation, and modeling layers.
- Lead analytics initiatives involving ERP, planning systems, CRM, and third‑party data sources.
- Produce documentation for metrics, analytical logic, data models, and reporting standards.
- Support responsible AI use, including data governance and best practices for prompt design.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong SQL expertise and design of reusable analytical logic.
- Experience managing analytics models in a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake).
- Familiarity with Python-based data pipelines and cloud-native workloads.
- Ability to create analytics frameworks supporting multiple business teams.
- Knowledge of Azure analytics services (Data Factory, Container Apps, storage).
- Experience with CRM data (HubSpot), FP&A tools, or financial reporting environments.
- Experience designing prompts/workflows for enterprise AI tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical mindset, and detail orientation.
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences.
- Ability to build productive relationships across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or related discipline.
- Relevant data, analytics, or cloud certifications (e.g., Snowflake, Azure) are advantageous.
