Frontend Developer
**Role Summary**
Design, build, and maintain scalable, customer‑facing web applications that integrate closely with an enterprise CMS (OpenText TeamSite). Deliver responsive, high‑performance front‑end features using Angular, while supporting CI/CD pipelines, content delivery, and security best practices.
**Expectations**
- Deliver robust, reusable UI components in Angular 15+ with TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Extend and integrate OpenText TeamSite templates, workflows, and content delivery mechanisms (OpenDeploy & LiveSite).
- Manage end‑to‑end CI/CD workflows, GitHub Actions, and version control.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and web‑security compliance in a large‑scale enterprise environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Develop, test, and deploy responsive Angular components and micro front‑ends.
2. Create and maintain TeamSite v16+ templates, content workflows, and integration points.
3. Configure and maintain GitHub repository structure, workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
4. Implement performance optimizations (lazy loading, efficient rendering) and enforce web‑security standards (CORS, CSP, OWASP).
5. Collaborate with UX/UI designers, back‑end developers, and DevOps to deliver fully integrated solutions.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, applying best‑practice debugging and monitoring tools.
**Required Skills**
- OpenText Web CMS (TeamSite) – hands‑on v16+
- Angular (client‑ and server‑side rendering, micro front‑end patterns)
- TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3; familiarity with preprocessors (SASS/LESS) or utility‑first frameworks (Tailwind) is a plus
- Git & GitHub Actions; experience building CI/CD pipelines for web deployments
- Enterprise CMS workflow design and integration; understanding of content delivery with OpenDeploy and LiveSite
- Strong grasp of web performance, scalability, and security best‑practices (Web Performance Optimization, OWASP Top 10)
**Nice to Have**
- SEO fundamentals and experience with structured data
- Large‑scale platform integration (e.g., headless CMS)
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience in front‑end/web application development.
- Certification in Angular, TypeScript, or enterprise CMS platforms is a plus but not mandatory.
