Job Title: BIM / CDE Information & Governance Lead Role Summary: Lead the governance and assurance of drawing workflows, ensuring adherence to industry standards while driving continuous improvement and digitisation of approval processes. Collaborate with BIM, digital engineering, and stakeholders to modernise legacy procedures and implement efficient, automated solutions. Expectations: • Deliver robust drawing governance frameworks that meet regulatory and internal standards. • Champion the transition from manual to digital approval workflows. • Actively test, refine, and roll out new digital processes. • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the drawings team and end users. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain drawing governance and assurance procedures. • Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO, national building codes). • Collaborate with BIM and digital engineering teams to digitise approval workflows. • Test and build new digital workflows, integrating automation where possible. • Provide subject matter expertise on BIM and CDE best practices. • Engage stakeholders to gather requirements, provide guidance, and drive adoption. • Monitor performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and report progress. Required Skills: • Extensive experience in BIM and Common Data Environment (CDE) management. • Proven ability to develop and enforce drawing governance frameworks. • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. • Process improvement methodology knowledge (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen). • Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is highly advantageous. • Proficiency in digital workflow design and automation tools. • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
