Job Description
**Job title** Project Manager – Railway RAMS (H/F) **Role Summary** Lead end‑to‑end railway safety and reliability projects, applying CENELEC and IEC standards to define and control safety requirements, risk analyses, and reliability documentation, while managing contract, cost, and technical execution. **Expactations** - Deliver safety-critical railway projects on time, within budget, and per regulatory requirements. - Ensure technical ownership of project scope, interface management, and client satisfaction. - Demonstrate proficiency in risk & reliability engineering, project management, and stakeholder communication in a multinational team. **Key Responsibilities** - Deploy safety engineering methodologies per EN 50126/28/29 and IEC 61508. - Conduct preliminary risk (PHA) and interface (IHA) analyses, especially with rolling stock. - Establish, pilot, and monitor FMEA and FDM processes; maintain Hazard Log and FMDS requirements. - Build fault trees, perform reliability analysis, and produce safety documentation for systems and subsystems. - Define, plan, and track projects from initiation to closure, ensuring profitability and quality. - Prepare technical offers, estimate resource allocation, and price projects. - Analyze and synthesize contract packages throughout the business lifecycle; manage client and supplier contractual clauses. - Provide technical oversight, architecture decisions, interface integration, and production scheduling. - Supervise technical production, enforce quality controls, and advise consulting teams. - Optional management of a team, including recruitment, performance reviews, and coaching. **Required Skills** - Minimum 3 years in railway safety/reliability engineering. - Strong knowledge of CENELEC EN 50126/28/29, IEC 61508, and AMDEC/FMEA/FDM techniques. - Expertise in safety documentation, Hazard Log, FMDS, fault tree analysis, and reliability assessment. - Project management skills (planning, cost control, resource estimation, contract analysis). - Ability to independently drive technical architecture and interface coordination. - Excellent written and oral communication in English for professional contexts. - Proactive, client‑focused approach with strong teamwork and mentoring abilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor + 5 (Engineer or equivalent university degree) in general engineering or related field. - Proven expertise in railway safety engineering (e.g., EN 50126/28/29, IEC 61508). - Certifications such as ISO 9001, or any relevant safety engineering qualification, are advantageous.
