Job Description
Job title: Head of Marketing Role Summary: Senior marketing executive leading strategic marketing, communications, and event initiatives for a financial services firm’s investment banking division over a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Expectations: - Deliver measurable growth in brand visibility and lead generation. - Manage marketing budget, ensuring cost‑effective use of resources. - Align all marketing activities with global strategy and product launches. - Provide high‑quality collateral, content, and event experiences that support sales acquisition. - Maintain consistent brand voice and compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute the overall marketing and communications strategy for the investment banking business. - Lead end‑to‑end event strategy, including budgeting, logistics, and vendor management. - Collaborate with product, sales, and other cross‑functional teams to develop go‑to‑market plans for new products/features. - Create, launch, and optimize digital and demand‑generation campaigns (email, social, paid media). - Produce and oversee visual and written marketing assets, ensuring brand consistency. - Conduct client research, feedback collection, and competitive analysis to inform product positioning. - Work with the Global Head of Marketing to ensure strategic alignment of all marketing initiatives. - Manage and develop a high‑performing marketing team. - Evaluate and report on campaign and event performance using key metrics. Required Skills: - 10+ years of progressive marketing, communications, and events experience. - Proven leadership and team‑management capabilities. - Deep understanding of B2B financial services, investment banking, and regulatory environments. - Expertise in email marketing platforms, direct marketing, digital advertising, and event/conference management. - Experience managing creative agencies (design, advertising, print). - Strong project and campaign management track record. - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to create compelling content. - Innovative thinking with a track record of successful marketing campaigns. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional qualification).
