Job title: Cyber Security Sales Lead
Role Summary:
Lead the end-to-end development and scaling of Telefónica Tech’s cyber go‑to‑market (GTM) strategy. Own cyber brand positioning, pipeline creation, sales enablement, commercial execution, and partnership alignment, translating technical security value into business outcomes for senior leaders and gatekeepers.
Expectations:
- Build a full cyber GTM motion from concept to execution.
- Own end‑to‑end pipeline generation, qualification, and forecasting.
- Drive commercial strategy, pricing, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Position cyber initiatives as business enablers, not just technical controls.
- Lead cross‑functional collaboration across marketing, solution delivery, and partner ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define propositions, messaging, and positioning for cyber services.
- Identify target customer segments, buyer personas, and priority use cases.
- Partner with marketing to create campaigns, assets, and thought leadership.
- Shape and evolve cyber offerings (SOC, threat detection, IAM, cloud security, GRC, architecture).
- Hire, coach, and empower sales teams with playbooks, training, and value narratives.
- Facilitate executive briefings, workshops, and customer presentations.
- Own pipeline creation, progression, and accurate forecasting.
- Drive commercial strategy: pricing, negotiation, and partnership go‑to‑market.
- Engage key technology partners (Microsoft, AWS, Fortinet, Crowdstrike) for joint GTM, co‑sell and marketplace opportunities.
- Translate security risk, threat landscape, and maturity into clear business benefits for CISOs, CIOs, risk leaders, and boards.
Required Skills:
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, cyber risk, or security transformation.
- Proven GTM, sales leadership, or commercial experience in cyber/tech services.
- Strong communication skills: ability to explain complex security concepts to executives.
- Negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management.
- Cross‑functional collaboration across strategy, sales, and delivery.
- Experience building new offerings or scaling GTM motions.
- Strategic mindset and ability to align cyber with data, AI, cloud, application, and networking domains.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent cybersecurity credentials.
- Prior experience in sales leadership roles (e.g., Cyber Sales Manager, Sales Director) is highly desirable.
