Job Description
**Job Title** EHS & Q Coordinator **Role Summary** Act as the primary safety, health, environment, and quality adviser for a specialty gas site. Lead risk management, training, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives in line with Belgian HSE legislation and ISO standards. **Expectations** - Deliver consistent EH&S support across all operations, maintenance, and administration functions. - Coach staff, facilitate training, and enforce safety policies to maintain a safe and sustainable workplace. - Drive continuous improvement of safety and environmental practices and demonstrate leadership by example. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop, update, and enforce safety procedures, risk assessments, and incident investigation protocols. - Coordinate site security, medical surveillance, and safety coaching sessions. - Conduct internal audits and support participation in national EHS projects and industry workshops. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate safety into operational planning and execution. - Evaluate and improve environmental and quality management practices in accordance with ISO standards. **Required Skills** - Strong knowledge of Belgian HSE legislation and ISO quality standards. - Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities. - Proactive, problem‑solving mindset with ability to influence teams. - Fluent in French and English (written and spoken). - SAP experience (nice to have). **Required Education & Certifications** - Technical degree or level 1 Safety Professional certification under Belgian legislation (level 2 acceptable with intent to obtain level 1). - Relevant background in gas processes or chemical industry desirable.
