Job Description: **Job Title**: Senior Software Engineer **Role Summary** Lead design and development of secure blockchain and cryptographic solutions. Build RESTful APIs, implement Zero Knowledge Proofs and Secure Multi‑Party Computation, and collaborate with a global engineering team to deliver scalable, secure software on cloud platforms. **Expectations** - Deliver production‑ready code in a hybrid work environment. - Demonstrate deep expertise in backend or systems programming with Python or Java, supplemented by Rust knowledge. - Design secure APIs and embed strong cryptographic primitives into application workflows. - Actively contribute to proof‑of‑concepts and real‑world deployments. - Maintain high code quality, adhere to secure coding standards, and participate in code reviews. - Communicate effectively across teams and share knowledge on emerging cryptographic and blockchain technologies. **Key Responsibilities** - Architect and implement secure, high‑performance REST APIs for blockchain services. - Develop and integrate Zero Knowledge Proofs, Secure Multi‑Party Computation, and other advanced cryptographic mechanisms. - Write clean, testable, and documented code using Python or Java, with supplementary Rust components as needed. - Deploy and manage services in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) following DevSecOps practices. - Collaborate with product, security, and infrastructure teams to define requirements, estimate effort, and deliver on schedule. - Conduct security reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments of code and architectures. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical culture through knowledge sharing and best‑practice adoption. **Required Skills** - Strong backend or systems programming in Python or Java; proficiency in Rust is a plus. - Deep understanding of blockchain architectures, consensus mechanisms, and smart‑contract platforms. - Expertise in cryptography: public‑key schemes, hashing, digital signatures, Zero Knowledge Proofs, Secure Multi‑Party Computation, and related protocols. - Experience designing secure RESTful APIs and services on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). - Proficiency with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps tooling. - Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to design embedded‑level solutions. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities in a multicultural team. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cryptography, or related field. - Relevant certifications such as Certified Blockchain Professional, AWS Certified Developer/Architect, or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) are advantageous.
