**Job Title**
Automation Project Manager (Chef de projet automatisme F/H)
**Role Summary**
Lead and deliver end‑to‑end automation projects, managing studies, design, programming, testing, and commissioning. Serve as the technical reference, ensuring projects meet cost, quality, and schedule objectives while maintaining close client contact and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
**Expectations**
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards.
- Act as a technical liaison between client, engineering, and operations.
- Mentor and supervise project team members, ensuring high performance and knowledge transfer.
- Maintain project documentation and status reporting for stakeholders and business development partners.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Conduct functional design studies and translate requirements into technical specifications.
2. Design and program PLCs (Siemens & Schneider), HMIs, and other supervisory systems (e.g., PCVUE).
3. Plan and execute functional, integration, and commissioning tests.
4. Coordinate activities of engineering, manufacturing, and on‑site teams.
5. Communicate progress, risks, and technical issues to clients and internal stakeholders.
6. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design reports, test plans, and as‑built drawings.
7. Support business development by providing technical input on proposals and demonstrations.
**Required Skills**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in automation engineering/design.
- Strong technical expertise in Siemens PLCs (SIMATIC) and Schneider automation products.
- Proficiency in programming PLCs, HMIs, and supervisory software (PCVUE or equivalent).
- Project management skills: scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and resource coordination.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Ability to travel nationally (≈25 % of time).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related field.
- Certifications in Siemens SIMATIC/TIA Portal or Schneider DCS/ControlWise are preferred.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
