Job Title: Senior Machine Learning Engineer
Role Summary: Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered machine learning solutions for large-scale digital learning platforms, ensuring robust performance, scalability, and continuous improvement.
Expectations:
- 4+ years of professional experience in machine learning and natural language processing.
- Proven ability to translate research concepts into production-ready systems.
- Strong ownership of the entire ML lifecycle, from experimentation to deployment and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement NLP models using Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras.
- Develop and maintain scalable MLOps pipelines, including model training, validation, versioning, and deployment.
- Integrate advanced techniques such as transformer architectures, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and vector databases.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, evaluate data quality, and refine models.
- Monitor model performance in production, troubleshoot issues, and implement iterative improvements.
- Ensure security, compliance, and best practices in data handling and model governance.
Required Skills:
- Deep knowledge of machine learning fundamentals (algorithms, loss functions, regularization).
- Expertise in NLP applications, transformer-based models, and related libraries.
- Experience with MLOps tooling (e.g., MLflow, Airflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in Python and relevant deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras).
- Familiarity with vector search technologies (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS) and prompt engineering.
- Strong coding practices, version control (Git), and documentation skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications in deep learning or MLOps (e.g., TensorFlow Developer, AWS Certified Machine Learning) are a plus.
