Job Description

**Job title:** Performance Engineer **Role Summary:** Responsible for evaluating and optimizing engine performance and emissions, leading test programs, and conducting failure analyses to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. **Expectations:** - Deliver measurable performance improvements within defined objectives. - Achieve emissions targets in line with current regulations. - Provide timely, data‑driven test reports and recommendations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead hardware evaluation against performance objectives. - Perform engine emissions mapping, calibration, and measurements. - Own test program planning, execution, and reporting. - Conduct failure analysis and defect resolution. - Analyze data and generate actionable insights for improvement. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience in engine performance engineering. - Strong understanding of emissions measurement techniques and hardware. - Knowledge of emissions regulations and compliance requirements. - Expertise in data analysis, statistical methods, and reporting tools. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field. - Certifications in emissions testing (e.g., EPA, IMO) or engine calibration preferred.
