**Job Title:** Senior Cloud Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Lead Cloud, DevOps, and Platform teams to design, build, and maintain scalable, efficient cloud solutions. Drive adoption of best practices across AWS, container orchestration, and automation using Python.
**Expectations:**
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Ensure cloud architecture aligns with performance, security, and cost‑optimization goals.
- Champion automation and continuous improvement in deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Architect, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure and services.
- Design and operate Kubernetes/ECS clusters and Docker container environments.
- Develop Python scripts and tools for infrastructure automation, monitoring, and orchestration.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines and DevOps standards.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce security best practices, and perform performance tuning.
- Lead incident response and root‑cause analysis for cloud‑related issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep experience with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in container technologies: Kubernetes, ECS, Docker.
- Advanced Python programming for automation and scripting.
- Hands‑on experience with IaC tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar).
- Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in cloud environments.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and drive architectural decisions.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, or Kubernetes Certified Administrator (CKA).
