Job Description

Job Title: Business Data Analyst (H/F) Role Summary: Entry‑level analyst responsible for translating data into actionable supply‑chain strategies for global clients. Combines data cleaning, forecasting, economic optimization, and client communication to drive measurable results. Expactations: - Master internal Differentiable Programming tools and DSL “Envision.” - Deliver and refine quantitative strategies in collaboration with senior experts. - Engage with clients via phone/email to understand business needs; assist in strategy execution. - Demonstrate rapid learning, adaptability, and a proactive, results‑oriented mindset. Key Responsibilities: - Acquire, clean, and preprocess diverse data sets. - Build and maintain forecasting models for inventory and demand. - Apply economic optimization techniques to reduce costs and improve service levels. - Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights. - Support clients in strategy implementation and monitor performance. - Participate in internal training and knowledge sharing sessions. - Travel minimally to client meetings or events as needed. Required Skills: - Strong engineering or quantitative background. - Proficiency in Excel and at least one programming language (Python, VBA, SQL). - Excellent written and verbal English; French is optional. - Clear communication and telephone etiquette. - Rapid problem‑solving and ability to grasp new technologies quickly. - Self‑motivated, confident, and hands‑on orientation to deliver results. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field. - Certifications in data analytics, SQL, or supply‑chain fundamentals are a plus.
