**Job title:** Director, People Operations
**Role Summary:** Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the People Operations function across technology, analytics, programs, workforce, and immigration. Align the function with organizational goals, drive data‑driven decision making, ensure compliance and scalability, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
**Expectations:** Lead and develop a high‑performing leadership team; set vision and roadmap for People Ops; prioritize and execute technology initiatives; leverage analytics for strategy; deliver operational excellence; manage compliance and risk; build cross‑functional partnerships; influence senior executives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and mentor five functional leaders (People Technology, People Analytics, Programs & Governance, Contingent Workforce, Immigration).
- Define and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for People Operations.
- Manage the People Technology portfolio, partnering with HRIS and stakeholders on initiatives such as Workday onboarding/offboarding automation and Betterworks enhancements.
- Champion data‑driven decision making; develop dashboards, reports, and insights with the People Analytics team.
- Drive operational excellence and scalability across budgeting, vendor management, contingent workforce programs, and HR service delivery models.
- Ensure enterprise‑wide compliance and risk mitigation for people processes, including SOX/FTC audits and immigration compliance.
- Act as a key member of the People Leadership Team, advising on organizational design, workforce planning, and operational strategy.
- Build and maintain strong cross‑functional partnerships with HRIS, Finance, Legal, and external partners to execute complex initiatives.
**Required Skills:**
- 10+ years progressive experience in People Operations, HR Technology, or related domain.
- Minimum 5 years formal leadership of other leaders.
- Proven success leading People Ops through significant change.
- Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Visier, Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Google Workspace (Google Sheets, data modeling, dashboards).
- Strong HR technology knowledge, preferably Workday, and understanding of implementation lifecycles.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. employment laws, compliance, and SOX/FTC audit requirements.
- Experience in budgeting, vendor management, and scalable service delivery.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills; ability to build credibility with senior executives.
- Systems‑thinking mindset and adaptability to ambiguity.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
