Job title: Azure Cloud Architect
Role Summary:
Design, implement, and manage Azure‑based DevOps and cloud architecture solutions, focusing on CI/CD pipelines, IaC, containerization, and DevSecOps practices to drive cloud transformation and operational excellence.
Expectations:
- Lead architectural design and delivery of scalable cloud and CI/CD solutions for enterprise applications.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices in security, compliance, and governance across multi‑region, hybrid, or multi‑cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enable continuous delivery, monitoring, and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for build, test, and release across environments.
- Author and manage IaC artifacts with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and PowerShell.
- Deploy and operate containerized workloads on AKS using Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes concepts.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Define and enforce DevOps standards, branching strategies, and release governance.
- Support cloud migration, modernization, and high‑availability architecture.
- Conduct architectural reviews, performance tuning, and automation initiatives.
- Mentor and influence teams in adopting DevSecOps culture and secure coding practices.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years in DevOps, Cloud Architecture, or Build & Release Engineering.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
- Expertise in Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, YAML, and IaC.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure services: AKS, App Service, Key Vault, Storage, Networking.
- Strong container orchestration knowledge (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker).
- Familiarity with DevSecOps tools: SonarQube, Snyk, OWASP, Defender for Cloud.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, and release management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred).
