Job Description
**Job Title:** IT Payment Systems Support Engineer **Role Summary:** Strengthen operational and regulatory compliance by delivering high-quality service improvements across payment platforms. Provide technical and functional expertise to ensure seamless payment system operations. **Expectations:** Deliver advanced IT support for payment systems, manage incident resolution, supervise critical flows, coordinate changes, and collaborate across technical and business teams. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Provide Level 2 IT support for payment platforms, resolving incidents and restoring service. 2. Monitor and manage critical payment flows using tools (ELK, Splunk) in SaaS/PaaS environments. 3. Supervise deployments, changes, and migration projects to ensure service continuity. 4. Collaborate on system migrations and platform evolution initiatives. 5. Act as a liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and external partners (banks, PSPs, schemes). 6. Maintain regulatory and functional vigilance across payment systems. **Required Skills:** - In-depth knowledge of payment ecosystems (acquisition, authorization, settlement). - Expertise in payment protocols (NEXO, CB2A, CBAE) and Visa/Mastercard schemes. - Technical-functional proficiency in IT architectures, distributed systems, communication buses. - Advanced use of monitoring/reporting tools (ELK, Splunk). - Strong communication, coordination, and cross-functional teamwork. **Required Education & Certifications:** Bachelor’s/Master’s in IT or related field; 5+ years’ experience in payment systems IT support or payment environment roles. Preference for certifications in payment processing or IT service management frameworks.
