Job Title: Sr Scrum Master
Role Summary:
Seasoned Scrum Master to lead and facilitate agile delivery for a high‑impact data modernization initiative. Oversees distributed, cross‑organizational teams implementing a modern clean‑room data architecture, ensuring alignment, velocity, and delivery of measurable outcomes.
Expactations:
* Deliver complex technical and data‑focused projects on time and within scope.
* Maintain high‑performing teams through continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability.
* Provide stakeholder‑centric communication, ensuring product owners, data engineers, and partner stakeholders are aligned.
* Manage risk, issues, and dependencies across multiple organizations, escalating and mitigating as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead core agile ceremonies (daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
2. Coordinate delivery across multi‑enterprise teams, ensuring alignment on timelines, dependencies, and technical milestones.
3. Facilitate clear communication between product owners, data engineers, and external stakeholders to manage deliverables and resolve blockers.
4. Monitor sprint progress, velocity, and backlog prioritization, enforcing agile principles and continuous improvement.
5. Oversee risk and issue management across partner organizations, escalating and mitigating risks effectively.
6. Partner with data architecture and development teams to enforce governance, compliance, and security standards.
Required Skills:
* 7+ years as Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager with a proven record of delivering complex initiatives.
* Deep knowledge of Scrum and Kanban frameworks, with experience tailoring practices to team maturity and project complexity.
* Proficiency with Jira and related agile tooling; skilled in metrics, reporting, and data‑driven decision making.
* Exceptional facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
* Experience leading distributed, cross‑organizational teams across time zones and cultures.
* Strong background in technical and data‑centric project delivery, data quality improvement, and collaboration.
Required Education & Certifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification; PMI‑ACP or Scrum‑Agile certification preferred.
