Commercial Director (France)
**Role Summary**
Lead the commercial strategy and execution for a leading wine and spirits producer across CHR, cellar shop, duty‑free, and wholesale channels in France. Own end‑to‑end sales performance, drive growth, and build high‑impact partnerships while managing a national team of ~50 sales agents.

**Key Responsibilities**
1. Define and execute the national sales strategy to achieve revenue, margin, and market‑share targets.
2. Negotiate and close commercial agreements with key wholesalers, hotel & restaurant chains, duty‑free operators, and cellar shops.
3. Lead, coach, and develop a national sales team of ~50 agents, ensuring clear objectives, performance reviews, and career progression.
4. Set up and oversee commercial dashboards, KPI tracking, and reporting to senior management.
5. Act as brand ambassador, fostering long‑term partnerships and delivering customer‑centric solutions.
6. Collaborate with marketing, product, and supply‑chain teams to align on launch programs, promotions, and inventory management.
7. Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to adjust strategy proactively.
**Required Skills**
- Proven sales leadership in the wine or beverage industry.

- Excellent communication: French (native) and English (proficient) in written and spoken form.

**Required Education & Certifications**

- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive sales experience in wine, spirits, or related B2B sectors, with at least 3 years in a leading or managerial role.
- Industry certifications (e.g., Certified Sommelier, Master of Wine) are a plus but not mandatory.
