**Job title**
Marketing Operations Manager
**Role Summary**
Lead the planning, execution, and measurement of trade marketing and commercial activation initiatives to drive in‑store sales performance. Coordinate with sales teams, manage a communication subject‑matter expert, and use data to optimize marketing effectiveness.
**Expectations**
- Deliver measurable trade‑marketing ROI and support sales growth targets.
- Manage an operational communication team and collaborate closely with sales field staff.
- Provide data‑driven insights and adjust marketing actions in a fast‑paced consumer goods environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Deploy and manage trade‑marketing plans: promotions, point‑of‑sale (POS) displays, merchandising, and product launches.
- Act as the daily marketing liaison for the sales force; design and provide sales‑enablement tools and collateral.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators: sell‑out, visibility, return on investment, margin contribution.
- Extract and interpret commercial data to prioritize initiatives and refine execution plans.
- Consolidate field feedback to inform product planning, forecast accuracy, inventory management, and margin optimization.
- Direct operational communication, including content creation, collateral production, press relations, and digital assets.
- Mentor and develop a Communication Manager while maintaining tight alignment with the broader Marketing Department.
**Required Skills**
- 5–10 years of progressive marketing experience in an operational, trade‑marketing, sales‑marketing, or brand/product management role.
- Strong FMCG/consumer‑packaged‑goods background.
- Business‑oriented, results‑driven, pragmatic, and structured mindset.
- Advanced analytical abilities; adept at interpreting data, creating reports, and translating insights into actions.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Proficiency with commercial planning tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with analytics platforms.
- Proven team‑management and stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Optional: Certifications in Marketing, Trade Marketing, Product Management, or related functional areas.
