Job Title: Principal Architect (Information Technology) Role Summary: Lead technical architect responsible for transforming and modernizing the pricing engine platform, driving product strategy, integration development, and cloud infrastructure resiliency. Serve as a mentor, evaluator, and technical leader while collaborating across Revenue Management and engineering teams. Expectations: - Own end‑to‑end pricing functionality on a high‑volume, business‑critical platform. - Deliver scalable, highly available multi‑region cloud solutions. - Guide technical direction, set engineering standards, and influence strategic roadmap decisions. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and oversee redesign of the pricing engine, including integration capabilities and core modernization. - Partner with Revenue Management to translate operational requirements into technical solutions. - Lead a cross‑functional team, provide mentorship, and manage technical quality and code reviews. - Drive talent acquisition efforts for senior engineering roles. - Evaluate and adopt emerging cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to enhance platform reliability. - Influence and contribute to long‑term architectural vision and technical strategy. Required Skills: - 7+ years of senior software engineering leadership, systems integration, and cloud roadmap delivery. - Proven experience designing high‑availability, resilient multi‑region architectures on AWS (or Azure/GCP). - Strong proficiency in C#/.NET and cloud‑native application development. - Ability to mentor and inspire engineering teams, perform technical evaluations, and set standards. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. ---
