Job title: Senior System Administrator
Role Summary: Lead design, implementation, and support of hybrid cloud and on‑premises infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across multiple sites.
Expectations: Deliver proactive automation, scripting, and security best practices while collaborating with IT leadership on strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: • Administer Fortinet firewalls, VPN, and SD‑WAN solutions. • Manage Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file/print services). • Administer Linux (Ubuntu) servers. • Deploy, monitor, and support GCP workloads (VMs, networking). • Manage M365 (Exchange, SharePoint, PowerApps). • Administer Cisco Webex platform and Webex Call Center. • Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash). • Perform system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and high‑availability maintenance. • Implement security policies, patch management, and compliance controls. • Oversee backup, DR plans, and incident response procedures. • Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance.
Required Skills: • ≥5 years system administration experience, preferably in multi‑site enterprise environments. • Expertise with Fortinet products (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAP, FortiSwitch) and SD‑WAN. • Proficient in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory administration. • Solid knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) administration. • Strong automation and scripting skills, especially PowerShell. • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (VMs, networking). • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint) and PowerApps. • Practical knowledge of Cisco Webex platform and Webex Call Center administration. • Understanding of networking fundamentals: routing, switching, VPN, VLAN, QoS. • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices: firewall policies, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management. • Experience with virtualization (VMware) and other cloud services (Azure) is an advantage. • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills. • Bilingual communication abilities (French and English).
Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). • Relevant certifications: Fortinet NSE4+ or higher, MCSA/MCSE, Cisco CCNA/CCNP Collaboration, or equivalent.
