ServiceNow Lead Developer
**Role Summary**
Lead design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, HRSD, CMDB, ITOM, ITAM, and HAM Pro modules, with focus on asset lifecycle automation, integration, and UI optimization.
**Expectations**
12+ years hands-on ServiceNow development; expertise in HAM Pro configuration, asset normalization, and integration via REST/SOAP APIs. Proficiency in Agile/Scrum frameworks and cross-team collaboration.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and customize ServiceNow solutions for ITAM, HAM Pro, and integrated modules.
- Develop and support asset lifecycle workflows, including normalization, reclamation, and reconciliation.
- Build integrations with external systems using APIs and IntegrationHub.
- Create UI pages, dashboards, and portals to enhance asset visibility and user experience.
- Automate asset request processes via catalog items, flows, and script-based solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and resolve technical debt.
- Maintain compliance with ITAM standards and ServiceNow governance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Support platform upgrades, patches, and performance optimization for HAM Pro and dependencies.
- Manage documentation, version control, and CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
**Required Skills**
- JavaScript, Glide API, ServiceNow scripting (client/server-side).
- ServiceNow data model (CMDB, asset relationships).
- Flow Designer, Business Rules, UI Policies, Catalog Client Scripts.
- Update sets, source control (Git preferred), deployment processes.
- SDLC, Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines.
- Problem-solving and communication in fast-paced environments.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- **Preferred**: ServiceNow CSA, CIS ITAM, HAM, or Application Developer Certifications.
- **Preferred**: CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab), ITIL processes, frontend frameworks (AngularJS, React).
