Technical Business Analyst – Third‑Party Payment Integrations
**Role Summary**
Senior analyst focused on integrating and managing credit card and payment processing systems for merchant acquisition and settlement services. Acts as bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external payment networks, ensuring that functional and technical requirements align with business objectives throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
**Expectations**
*Lead complex requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation with a strong emphasis on Payment Acquiring Services and Settlement Operations.
*Manage scope changes, support integration testing, and deliver clear, actionable requirements for both functional and non‑functional aspects of payment platform projects.
*Communicate insights, gaps, and impacts to cross‑functional teams and external partners, maintaining project momentum and clarity.*
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct business‑needs and gap analyses; model future‑state business and system processes.
- Define, document, and manage requirements across all SDLC stages using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Tableau.
- Facilitate requirement elicitation sessions with internal stakeholders, IT teams, and external payment‑network partners.
- Analyze functional and non‑functional requirements, including compliance, security, and performance considerations.
- Amend and trace requirement changes, ensuring traceability throughout the lifecycle.
- Support integration, system, and user acceptance testing to verify compliance with specifications.
- Present status, risks, and findings to product owners, engineering leads, and external vendors.
- Maintain knowledge of industry regulations and standards for credit card and debit‑card processing environments.
**Required Skills**
- 6+ years of IT/business analysis experience in payment processing or financial services.
- Expertise in payment acquiring, settlement systems, and transaction‑processing technologies.
- Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, Clarity, and MS Office suite.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to manage scope changes, coordinate testing cycles, and maintain requirement traceability.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certifications such as CBAP, CCAB, or similar business‑analysis credentials preferred.
