Senior Business Analyst
**Role Summary**
Senior Business Analyst with 15+ years of experience leading large-scale solution design and implementation. Drives alignment between business objectives and technical execution, mentors junior analysts, and ensures timely delivery of high-quality, scalable applications in Agile/DevOps environments.
**Expectations**
- 15+ years in business analysis or equivalent, including 10+ years designing technical solutions with architects.
- Proficiency in translating complex business needs into actionable technical requirements and user stories.
- Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making under pressure.
- Experience managing cross‑functional teams and mentoring junior staff.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead collaborative sessions with business stakeholders and technical teams to capture, refine, and prioritize requirements.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs, user stories, process models, and data models.
- Validate technical solutions against business needs, quality standards, and architectural constraints.
- Facilitate discussions between developers, architects, QA, and infrastructure to resolve gaps and risks.
- Advise on solution strategy: custom development vs. off‑the‑shelf purchase, modernization, integration, or new application build.
- Analyze project data, extract actionable insights, and support executive decision‑making.
- Mentor junior BAs, share best practices, and promote continuous improvement.
**Required Skills**
- Strong communication with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Expertise in Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and hybrid SDLC methodologies; familiarity with Waterfall.
- Proficient with process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) for flowcharts, data models, and BPM diagrams.
- Deep knowledge of responsive design, human‑centric UI/UX principles, and modern web frameworks.
- Understanding of software integration, cloud computing, APIs, middleware, legacy and emerging technologies.
- Experience reviewing technical specifications for completeness, accuracy, and quality compliance.
- Ability to break down complex requirements into actionable tasks while accounting for technical constraints.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- No additional certifications mandatory; relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Scrum Master) are a plus.
