**Job Title:** Senior Business Analyst
**Role Summary:**
Leads complex IT and operational initiatives within an educational environment, focusing on data quality, risk management, and system integration. Translates analytical insights into clear business cases, facilitates cross‑functional collaboration, and drives the implementation of centralized communication and third‑party risk management solutions.
**Expectations:**
- 5+ years of business analysis and IT experience, preferably in public sector or large institutions.
- Proven ability to manage multi‑stakeholder projects, produce business cases, feasibility studies, and project documentation.
- Strong quantitative/qualitative analysis, excellent communication, and the capacity to prioritize competing tasks and deliver on schedule.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct current‑state assessments of school communication, medical incident reporting, and vendor risk processes.
- Gather, document, and prioritize requirements; create data flow maps and process models.
- Lead the design and implementation of a TPRM system integrated with ERP, ServiceNow, DocuSign, and CLM.
- Quantify benefits and risks of data quality improvements and vendor risk initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations for non‑technical audiences.
- Coordinate cross‑departmental workflows, ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks (COPPA, FERPA, NIST, SOPPA).
- Produce design‑ready documentation and support project management tools (Agile/Waterfall).
**Required Skills:**
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills; ability to synthesize data from diverse sources.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and business analysis tools (requirements documentation, data flow mapping, process modeling).
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation creation, and stakeholder facilitation.
- Project management and organizational skills; experience with Agile/Waterfall and project tracking software.
- Knowledge of APIs, system integration, and enterprise interoperability.
- Familiarity with data governance, vendor risk, security, and privacy compliance.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of business analysis and IT experience in large organizations or public sector.
- Certifications: CBAP, PMI‑PBA, PMP, or equivalent.
- Preferred knowledge of regulatory frameworks: SOPPA, COPPA, FERPA, NIST.
