Job Title: Cloud Computing & DevOps Engineer
Role Summary:
Design, implement, and operate secure, highly available, and scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, containerized applications, and monitoring solutions to support production workloads and continuous delivery.
Expactations:
- 2–5+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.
- Proven ability to design and operate multi-cloud environments, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Strong scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation skills.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Demonstrated proficiency in IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking, storage, and identity & access management.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK).
- Familiarity with security frameworks (IAM, RBAC, encryption, SOC2, HIPAA, ISO‑27001) and vulnerability remediation.
- Effective collaboration with software engineering, QA, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud environments on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high‑availability solutions (VPCs, load balancers, storage, security groups).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry‑standard tools.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration via Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Script automation and system tasks in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Deploy and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE).
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting; troubleshoot production issues and enforce high availability.
- Apply security best practices, perform vulnerability scans, and remediate findings.
- Collaborate on architecture reviews, DevOps best‑practice adoption, and cross‑functional delivery.
Required Skills:
- Cloud platform expertise: AWS, Azure, GCP.
- CI/CD tool proficiency: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, CircleCI.
- Infrastructure‑as‑code: Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi.
- Configuration management: Ansible (preferred).
- Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).
- Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
- Linux/Unix system administration.
- Knowledge of IAM, RBAC, encryption, and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO‑27001).
- Monitoring/logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Cloud certifications preferred: AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure Administrator, GCP Engineer.
- Additional certifications in security or microservices not required but valued.
