Job title: Senior Project Manager
Role Summary: Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder IT implementations, driving scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and communication. Integrate projects into existing governance, liaise with business and technical teams, manage vendors, and deliver successful outcomes on time and within resources.
Expectations:
- Execute projects on long‑term contracts with high‑profile clients.
- Demonstrate strong decision‑making, negotiation, and problem‑solving.
- Manage dynamic, high‑pressure environments while maintaining focus on project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, plan, and implement solutions with internal and external stakeholders and vendors.
- Manage day‑to‑day activities, maintain project documentation in the Project Management system.
- Develop and maintain detailed schedules, budgets, and change, risk, rollout, and training plans.
- Integrate projects into existing governance, ensuring alignment of priorities.
- Oversee scope, resource, timeline, cost, quality, communication, and procurement.
- Lead project meetings, prepare presentations, status reports, and proposals.
- Work with technical teams to ensure readiness and delivery of milestones.
- Create procurement documents (RFP/RFQ) and technical artifacts.
- Coordinate with state/local government entities and Public Health Programs when applicable.
- Plan and manage data conversion and rollout activities.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years project management with large, complex technology implementations.
- 5–7 years experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, MS Office, SharePoint, and agile tools (Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Proven vendor management and procurement documentation skills.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams, influence stakeholders, and manage risk, cost, and quality.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or related field.
- PMP certification preferred; Agile/Scrum Master certification a plus.
- Experience with cloud‑based implementations and legacy system upgrades is advantageous.
