Job title: Hybrid Cloud & Infrastructure Manager
Role Summary: Oversees end‑to‑end design, deployment, and operation of on‑premises and cloud hosting, network, and data services to ensure high availability, performance, and security across the organization.
Expectations: Deliver robust hosting strategies, maintain SLA compliance, lead vendor and stakeholder relationships, enforce security and compliance standards, and drive automation through IaC to reduce risk and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute hosting strategy for data centers, IaaS/PaaS, servers, and storage.
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of hosting platforms, including performance tuning, capacity planning, and monitoring.
- Oversee database, backup/recovery, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Lead vendor management for hosting partners, cloud providers, WAN carriers, and hardware/software suppliers.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to enforce policies and protect hosting/data environments.
- Coordinate with business and application stakeholders to align infrastructure with application requirements.
- Manage security, audit, and compliance activities in accordance with internal IT governance and regulatory mandates.
- Establish and track KPIs to gauge operational health and system performance.
- Champion automation, IaC, and continuous improvement initiatives to elevate efficiency.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of IT infrastructure, hosting, network, and/or data platform management.
- 3+ years of leadership/people management experience in vendor or operations roles.
- Expertise in on‑prem and cloud hosting solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Deep knowledge of network operations, security architecture, and WAN carrier services.
- Proficiency in database technologies, backup/recovery, DR planning, and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of ITIL, change management, incident response, and IaC practices.
- Analytical, communicative, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Vendor governance and IT service management expertise.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, ITIL Foundation) are advantageous.
